Wish I could go back in time, and stop myself from destroying all my Barbies - y'know, giving them haircuts and altering their clothes.
Some of those old barbies and their stuff are worth a lot of $ now!
Found a box with one barbie and a bunch of clothes in it, and didn't really look too closely. Turns out its a vintage Francie barbie in great shape, with piles of her clothing that was hardly played with!
Just these few pieces sold for over $100 - and I had quite a lot of outfits. People were quick to point out that I had the sets all mixed up, so if I had been more organized, they would have sold for more!
Still, a $1.00 box of barbies that sold for over $450. is a pretty good profit ! :)
